CoolCat's adjustable sway bar is just the thing for the weekend autocrosser. The sway bar is adjustable from slightly more than stock strength to nearly three times stock strength! This is accomplished simply by loosening a few allen screws, and moving the sliding link forward or back. No modifications are required to the car, other than replacing the parts included in this kit.
How it works: Sway bar strength is determined by the
diameter of the bar and the action arm length.
Most vendors sell uprated bars with fixed length arms,
but larger diameters. This means your upgraded bar
will be one strength fits all. The
CoolCat's bar is formed with action arms that are longer
than stock. The sliding links can be positioned
anywhere along the arm, and the strength will depend on
their position. The uplinks connect to the sliding
link, rather than to a fixed "eye".
You bar can be adjusted from stock to race strength in
minutes, the strength can be precisely tailored to the
handling characteristics of YOUR car.
You get all this: Sway bar, connecting blocks, rod end
drop links, frame bushings, safety collars, and hardware.
