The solid state module fits inside your distributor cap, replacing rotor, points and condesor with trouble free, modern electronics. The Ignitor is made in the U.S.A. and is backed by a 30 month factory warranty. This version of the Pertronix Ignitor is designed for Positive ground cars. If you convert to Negative ground, you will need to purchase an appropriate ignitor. This kit fits 1964 Series I 3.8L (w/positive ground). Note that this part fits the 22D6 distributor.
